Sustainability is a practice, not a slogan.

We focus on thoughtful materials, clear guidance and continual improvement across products, packaging and operations.

Our approach

There is no single product or material that solves every environmental challenge. A responsible approach considers the full journey: raw materials, manufacturing, packaging, transport, use and end-of-life disposal.

EcoEls is committed to understanding that journey more deeply and making improvements where they can create meaningful value. We will communicate what we know, identify what still needs work and avoid presenting progress as perfection.

Materials

For each product, we aim to provide clear information about the material used and the claims it supports. Terms such as biodegradable and compostable should never be treated as interchangeable.

A compostable product normally requires specific conditions and a recognised disposal pathway. The product page identifies whether a claim relates to home composting, industrial composting or another defined environment, together with the supporting certification where available.

Packaging

Packaging must still protect the product during transport and storage. We will seek improvements that balance material reduction, product integrity and customer experience.

Responsible disposal

The best disposal route depends on the product, local services and what the bag contains. EcoEls provides product-specific instructions and encourages customers to follow local authority guidance.

No product should be discarded in the open environment. Biodegradable or compostable does not mean litter-safe, and filled waste bags must always be disposed of responsibly.
